How a run gets arranged
There is no fixed week. A run exists when a member writes it on the Runs board: when, where, and roughly how far.
A few places are easy to name if you need a starting idea. The pavement outside Centre4 on Wootton Road is easy to find and the road is lit. Centre4 is a landmark. The centre does not run the group. Bradley Woods car park, off Bradley Road, is the woods option. Cleethorpes parkrun is a separate event, run by parkrun, if people want to go together.
We start together. Wanderers can take a shorter loop, with walking whenever walking is the right idea. Steady and Striders can go further. Same direction, same finish, when the route allows it.
The rule is dull and it works. If you cannot see the person behind you, you have gone too soon. Corners are for waiting. The first time you come, say if you need to be home by a certain time.
